This Privacy Policy explains how Deuce ("Deuce," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our platform, including player and business experiences across web and mobile interfaces.

We collect information you provide directly and information generated when you use the platform.
- Account and identity data: name, email, profile photo, authentication provider, account role, and role intent.
- Player booking data: selected facility and court, date/time slots, booking status, pricing, and payment status/reference metadata.
- Business data: business profile details, onboarding/review details, facilities, courts, schedules, listing visibility status, and media uploads.
- Support and communication data: messages and requests sent through our support channels.
- Technical data: device/browser basics, app logs, and security event records needed to operate and secure the service.
- Location data (optional): approximate or device location only when you explicitly grant browser/device permission for location-based features.
2. How We Use Information
- Authenticate users and protect accounts.
- Show facility availability and process reservations.
- Operate business management features and listing workflows.
- Run onboarding/review processes for facility publishing.
- Provide customer support and service communications.
- Monitor abuse, enforce platform policies, and maintain security.

3. Authentication and Profile Handling
We use Firebase Authentication (provided by Google) for sign-in, which may support one or more methods such as email link, Google, or other providers. Each account is identified by a unique user ID. We maintain a user profile record tied to that ID to support role-based experiences and data access control.
4. Booking and Payment Data
Booking records include time slots, court and facility references, ownership identifiers, and status information needed to operate the reservation lifecycle. In development or testing environments, payment flows may be simulated. If and when a live payment provider is enabled, its processing terms and privacy practices will also apply.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share data only where needed to operate the platform, such as:
- Infrastructure and cloud service providers, including Google (Firebase, Firestore, Cloud Functions), for authentication, data storage, hosting, and platform operations.
- Service providers supporting security, reliability, and support workflows.
- Legal or regulatory authorities when required by applicable law.
- Business transaction scenarios (for example merger or acquisition), subject to applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and operational data for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal/compliance obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain backup or archived copies for limited periods where required for security and continuity.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of transmitted or stored information.

Deuce is not intended for children under 18. If we learn that personal data from a child under 18 has been collected without required consent, we will take steps to delete it.
10. International Use
Depending on where you access Deuce, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the service, you understand this cross-border processing may occur, subject to applicable safeguards.
11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and session tokens) to operate the platform, maintain authentication sessions, and remember your preferences. We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how the platform is used, improve features, and monitor performance. Firebase Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, session duration, and device type. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Analytics data is only collected after you provide consent via the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies and local storage for this site.
